I've mentioned it before, many of the songs on the upcoming HFMC album deals with me looking back at my life. While writing them I did not for a second think of the Spellbound 30-year anniversay show since the release of "Breaking the spell". The timing of this gig is a bit spooky. I've just finished mixing the new Hasse Fröberg & Musical Companion album where the song "Can't stop the clock" (the third title I'm giving away) actually deals with my Spellbound years among other things.
A couple of weeks ago I was working in the studio in the daytime with the song I just mentioned. Later in the evening I was playing Spellbound songs I wrote over 30 years ago. It felt a bit "weird" to realize 30 years has gone and everything is more or less "the same". In Swedish it was "måndag hela veckan", in English "Groundhog day" totally.
I'm going to carry on with my Swenglish by saying the tickets are selling like "butter in the sunshine". Seriously, if you want tickets for the "Spellbound 30-year anniversay" it might be wise to get them now. You can buy them at Rocks Records, Retaurant Vero (Draget) and 4-Sound for 150:- You can also buy via Tickster (see link below) for the price of 165:- If you got nerves of steel, you can buy at the door for 180:- HJÄRTLIGT VÄLKOMNA ALLIHOPA!!!
