A turboprop ain't enough, right now I'm moving like a jet machine! It's like I'm at war on three fronts at the moment. I'm writing for the follow up to "FuturePast", I'm writing and recording demos for the "still secret project" and of course we're rehearsing for the tour. All of this at the same time as the regular life goes by, working at Arlanda, driving the kids to practice with their football teams etc. I can just hope that my family puts up with me for a little longer? I guess they all think I've been "gone fishing" for the last couple of weeks. The problem is, when the inspiration is there I just have to follow where it takes me. If I don't take care of all the ideas that's in my head, they'll be gone tomorrow. So before I forget, I'm sorry if my head's been elsewhere for a time now. Anyway, if you at some point in the future will hear songs with titles like: "Bleeding", "Cream and Sugar" (the secret project) or "Final hour", The chosen ones" and "Godsong" (HFMC), maybe you'll understand what my head's been like lately. Of course I'm not sure if these tunes will make it in the end but "something" tells me they will.
Tonight we're gonna rehearse again and the plan for tonight is to learn another tune. It's good to have just in case and sometimes it's nice to throw in another song in the set, just to keep yourself on the toes. It also gives you the possibility to make alternative sets, if that's needed. Then I guess that the vocals will have a high priority tonight. I hear the potential but we just haven't been able to "nail" it yet, mostly because of too little time. Me and I guess all of us in the band can state, that it would be a lot easier if we all would play acoustic guitar and sing. In this type of music you very often sing at the same time as you're preparing for the next section, both in your mind and practically by changing the sound of your instrument and so on. Jesus! now we're really getting close! Buy your tickets, can't wait to see you!
