After our 5 year absence from the American stages you really made us feel welcome big time...thank you! 2 hours before our show at RoSfest a very pale(rider) and more thin than ever looking Roine, with hardly no voice at all showed up at our hotel. Still, he did a great job and personally I think we managed to pull off an "interresting and different" show to what we've normally been doing since this tour started in September. This was my second time at RoSfest and I can once again state that it's a fantastic festival. The Majestic Theatre including crew are nothing but superb. The audience and the warm atmosphere are stunning and the partying is first class!
After 2 wonderful and sunny days in Gettysburg we drove to Philadelphia to once again team up with Neal Morse Band. To me it took off immediately with the same intensity as the European shows and the kind of "euphoria feeling" that hits both audience and musicians when everybody is up on stage at the end of the encore. Last stop LA and a gig under the wings of the supernice gentleman Jim Harrel. Not even 2 broken kick drum heads for Mike Portnoy could stop us from doing another "killer gig". Anyway, this was supposed to be the last TFK/NMB concert but I doubt it? As far as I know there's been offers and I wouldn't be surprised if we would do this again. Right now we have to lock ourselves up in the studio to try to complete the new album, at least up until next weekend when we're playing at the Terra incognita festival in Quebec City in Canada on May 19th. A marvellous weekend to you all!
